I stayed one night at a motel November 2009: Econo Lodge, 340 Upper Riverdale Road, Jonesboro, GA 30236, (770) 991-0069. I was severely hurt by bug bites while sleeping and had to seek emergency medical care the next day. And suffered for the next week. As of January 2010 there has been no resolve. I can only recommend you be very careful where you stay, never place your cloths or suit case on the bed. read full review »

After staying at this motel one night on 11/7/09 I was in severe pain and swelling from multiple bed bug bites which took some hours to show on my body. By the next day I had to go to an emergency clinic for shots for swelling. Rx for anti itch and a week of misery. I contacted the home office of Choice Hotels and was blown off. The local owner has still not contacted me back! I can only advise you not to frequent this place.
