A new costco just opened a few blocks from our house. Interested in possibly buying a membership, I tried to see what they sell and what their prices are like. The woman at the door said that I could get a one day pass just to look around but membership services said it wasn't possible. What kind of store won't let you browse their items and prices? I was respectably dressed and was with my 5 year old who was wearing a private school uniform. There was no reason for them not let us see. This must be a scam.
