I purchased an RCA HDVT 5o inch in 1995. At first I noticed a noise coming from it, so the next day I called RCA, they stated it was normal. I called again a couple months later they stated it was still normal. One year and 1 dy it went out I was unable to cut the set on it made a noise and then the screen flashed and went dead. I called RCA, they stated it is not covered under the warranty it just expired. I stated this was unbelievable, I paid $1200 for it, I felt like this had to be a fraud.
