I booked my son to fly from Luton to Malaga on 30th November. He passed through check-in and security, and at the point of boarding was told that there were "problems" with his passport. Customs and Excise were called, and they told him that in fact there was nothing wrong with his passport, but they´d kept him waiting so long that by this time he had missed his flight.
