ALDO IS AWFUL! I thought it was simple - return a pair of unworn shoes in the original box with both the original receipt AND a gift receipt in hand. Then the staff in the store said "company policy" was "even exchange only" and if the cost of the replacement shoes was less than the returned item we could "donate the difference for AIDS."
