Like others, DirecTV charged my account over $300 after we cancelled our service (we switched providers to get a better deal). They never sent a final bill and we never authorized the charges to be paid from our account. We contacted our bank and they said it was totally legal and that any company with your credit/debit and/or bank acount number and routing number can submit charges to be paid by your bank (we live in VA so it may be different for other states).
