I was approached by Argos to apply for their MasterCard on 23/4/09 with Email "Dayashankar Want money back to spend at Argos?" I applied and got rejected instantly with recommendation to apply for Vanquis Credit Card with more than twice interest rate. I made a complain to Financial Ombudsman Service, which was taken in, an Adjudicator was appointed who was completely ignored by Argos and yet the Adjudicator has written to me (attachment) that she is "unable to recommend [to who?] that your [my] complaint be upheld".
