Our GMAC home equity loan (HELOC) was recently transfered to Specialized Loan Servicing (SLS). Reviewing our loan information on the SLS website, we noticed "Pre-pay Penalty: Y". I called to see, and was told that is the "default" option for loans??? They also had the length wrong too. Check your paperwork!!! If you do find an issue give them a call, but be prepared to talk with the rudest people ever! (Other than Allstate adjusters). read full review »
