I have also had problems with Directv. I think we should not let them get away with treating consumers so poorly. I called because my remote control did not work. They said they would send me new equipment I said only if there is no new contract. I said I do not want a new contract. I knew when FIOS entered my neighborhood that i would switch so I did not want a new contract.
