Despite DoE's directives, mount carmel school charged Rs.150/ for nursery admissiona & propspectus. Admission is through lottery system. In the instructions they clearly mentioned it is compulsory that Rs.50, 000/- lump sum should be deposited within 24 hrs of draw of admission thru lottery and Rs.5000/- will be deducted from this lumpsum amount if the child's admission is withdrawn and get admitted elsewhere. There are several other schools also who made such processess compulsory. Action should be taken against such schools. Poor children cannot go to schools under such circumstances. read full review »
