Have had RV loan for 14 years, without ever letting my insurance lapse, even for a second. Almost every year they try to force you into insurance coverage, claiming they never received a copy of your policy. I personally have mailed a copy to them several times, yet they never can find them, and try to charge me $700+ to cover them againsy Comp & Collision loss.
