I am a realtor, have been for 15 years. Recently I listed a friends' mother's house. She had passed away. She had a reverse mortgage. We got an accepted offer on the house. Wells Fargo told us to proceed with it even though, after realtors commissions, closing costs, etc., the proceeds would be less than what was owed, because this is FHA insured.
