I applied for a modification to my mortgage, a Freddie Mac loan through Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, on January 15, 2009 - ALMOST ONE YEAR AGO!!! At that time we qualified for this program with the financial difficulties we were experiencing and really could have used the assistance.
