I live in Connecticut and am a Cablevision subscriber. As of today, Cablevision will no longer be carrying HGTV and the Foodnetwork due to unresolved contract negotiations. With the increase in popularity of both networks, Scripps, the company that owns HGTV and the Foodnetwork, is looking to be compensated fairly for Cablevision's use of both Networks.
