I was going to buy some cakes from this particular store at Toa Payoh Hub (Blk 500, Toa Payoh Lorong 6, #02-31). I politely called out to the two lady staff chatting happily behind the counter and ask for assistance but they simply ignored me. I was utterly shocked by their attitude. Soon enough (after a few minutes), more customers gathered at the counter. Only then did the staff respond unwillingly. Is this how a retail shop supposed to treat its customers?
