I came in to have my teeth pulled because of periodontal disease and they said they would not pull my good teeth only the damaged ones. They said they could fill the ones with cavities and put crowns on, and make and upper and lower partial. I only have 3 upper real teeth, and wanted dentures for the top. But they insisted that they would not pull the good teeth. Isn't it my choice since i will be paying for them. I think they just wanted to do all the fixes so they could charge me more money.
