Lea Winkler is up to her usual nasty dealings again. Someone was trying to buy Sydney (the female I bred and unfortunately sold to her on a limited registration) and when the person who had placed a deposit on her got in touch with me and then backed out of the purchase Lea turned on him like she does anyone who crosses her. Lea Winkler, aka many various names, is now trying to sell a dog that is the subject of a lawsuit over breach of contract, fraud and forgery. She is selling the dog for double what she paid for it and has snowed the people into believing she is legitimate. Contact any legitimate Golden Retriever breeder and mention the name Lea Winkler and see what response you get if they are active in the Golden world. AVOID BUYING A DOG FROM THIS PERSON. See the complaint filed under Frosty Paw Golden Retrievers for full details. She is breeding a female and is in breach of the contract with the original breeder. AVOID THIS KENNEL. The husband and wife that own/operate under this kennel name use either Lea Winkler, Leah Winkler, Harold Winkler, Toby, and various other names. They purchased a female from me on a "limited" registration then committed fraud with the AKC to get a full registraton on her. I filed the appropriate complaint with the AKC and got the registration reversed proving she committed fraud. She went ahead and bred the female at age 15 months.
