I purchased an xbox 12-month online card at Walmart for $49.97. By purchasing at Walmart instead of through XBox, I got 13 months for the price of 12. My son scratched off the number on the back of the card on 12/26/08 and processed the on-line membership on-line through the XBox gaming console. on 1/26/09, we had no live playing abilities. I called Microsoft and spent 1 hour and 48 minutes on the phone with 2 different people. They said they had no record of it and I had to spend another $49.99 in order to be able to play on-line.
