I recently had a loan with Lehman Bros that was purchased by OCWEN, Quicken loans called to say that the institution wanted to do a refinance at better terms than my original loan and that I would not have to pay quicken anything to do this. As always I asked why and the officer stated that if the terms were better the a default would be less likely and the lendor was willing to pay all of the fees.
