I have purchased overseas student insurance policy under plan gold-w100 from the icicilombard on 8/08/2008 for 2 years for my son who is studying in USA. In the month of march 2009, he was hospitalise there for 2 days in STRONG MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN ROCHESTER NY for the treatment of malaria for which he was charged $ 5029.91 by the hospital. Apart from this, ambulance service agency charged him $436.50. Out of this my son needed to pay $ 100 as per the clause in the policy, which he paid immediately.
