LIC OF India Chairman Mumbai Re: Information required under RTI Act I had submitted the payment of premium by cheque at Branch in Borivali No.902. By mistake I had written the date on cheque of 2009 instead of 2010. The cheques was returned inspite of availability of fund in my Bank account. Now LIC is telling me that I had made the mistake and there is no duty of LIC employee to check the details filled in the cheque. Further they are not ready to accept the cheques.
