I have tried to negotiate with this mortgage company. for over 3 months now. I wrote to them and requested a mortgage modification. They stated that we didn't not qualify. My husbands work has decressed and we are financially challenged. They wouldn't even consider lowering our interest rate which is currently at about 7.8%. Now I just received a letter stating that as of 3/1/10 our current mortgage from $1608.00 will now be $3, 3...oo if we couldn't afford $1, 608. how can we afford this much??
