I purchased a 32" Polaroid HDTV on September 2007 for $525.00. Just after two years the TV stopped functioning. I called Polaroid (800-765-2764). The rep, Soul, after requesting me to plug-off and plug-in the TV, said the "control unit" is gone and it will cost $250.00 to replace. They needed me to find the "panel revision number." When I called, the rep (Niva) asked me to look inside the TV using a flashlight and find the number inside. She said, "remember you are looking inside the TV through the back panel."
