I was scammed too!!! Wish I googled "Amerisave" before I started a refinance with them. I went to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and they gave the company an "A" (scale A-F). So after seeing that, I thought they were OK to do business with. BOY, WAS I WRONG. After I was on the hook for $935, signed the good faith and paid for the appraisal, I was told that I didn't qualify for the rate and terms because my house was zoned "agriculture".
