Widows and Orphans Beware of Direct TV Apparently they desperately need our money. I signed up for a trial of a package of Verizon and Direct TV services that did not work out. Verizon listened; Direct TV decidedly did not. You should know that if you try Direct TV, even for a few days, you owe them $500. Period. Like the villains in a Dickens’ novel, they come after you. Even if you did not contract with them directly but through a partner. Even if the partner (in this case Verizon) issues a full refund. Not Direct TV. read full review »
