We booked a vacation package with Sunquest through our travel agent. We paid for a 1 week stay at the Riu in Costa Rica for a family of 4 for $5800 (all inclisive).2 weeks prior to departure, we were informed that our booking was cancelled because Air Transat cancelled the flights. We asked Sunquest to hold our room reservation and charge us only for the room. They, at first refused but then after much arguing they said they woudl honour our room booking if we paid them an additional $2000.
