FakeAlert-XPSecurityCenter once installed on a system will generate fake messages of infection. It encourages the user to purchase a registered copy of their product in order to clean infections. Unsuspecting users may get enticed by the use of such scare tactics. I checked to pay $49 to get the situation corrected. It went back to my regular desk top and the security icon is still on my system and they charged over $100 from my account. something seriously needs to be done. I thought i had protection.
