Almost exactly 12 months ago I purchased the above product - a High Definition Digital Set Top Box - and six months later the remote control quit. The Company supplying would not replace it and I had to purchase a new remote control. Not only that but the unit was faulty from the start - it would start up with the channel number displayed then a few hours later, the channel number just disappeared and to get it to display again the set had to be shut down and restarted.
