Today I received the following sms : "Congratulation! Your mobile number has won £350, 000:00 in the UK Nokia lotto Promo. Call +44 7045 718025 and email to [email protected] for your prize claim" The message came from +229 96531100. Please note that the body text has a non-standard English first word, and the sum in GBP is also non-standard : I have copied them exactly as I received them. +229 appears to be the International Calling code for the Republic of Benin.
