I am a disabled senior citizen living on a fixed income. After a year of bad service, bogus charges, etc I cancelled my DirecTV service. I notified them 2 weeks in advance. The boxes for returning the equipment arrived 2 weeks after the cancellation and were damaged. I called DirecTV and asked if they wanted their equipment returned in damaged boxes. They said no and would send out new boxes. I was out of town over the holidays and when I returned I found the boxes and returned them the same day. Like everyone else, I ordered the "free trial" however when it arrived I wrote cancel on the invoice and immediately returned it. Now they have charged me again $89 and like the rest of you, I have no way to reach anyone. Mine is thru my bank card and reaching my bank takes an act of congress plus an interview with the Pope (Chase bought Wamu and now it's really a mess)! I'm disabled and on a fixed income.
