I have been a Capital One Auto Finance customer since 2003. I recently purchased a second vehicle in 2008. I experienced some financial distress and signed up for their Car Pay Catch Up Plan. I was told that if I signed up for the plan my account would be caught up and no negative information would be reported to the credit bureau. This was a lie. They reported a 30-day late to my credit report and when I called they would not do anything about it. I have tried to speak with someone in customer service but it has not helped.
