I have a student loan with Sallie Mae. I gave them the authorization to withdraw the monthly payments from my checking account. They were not satisfied. I received a call from them out of the blew indicating that I was in default. I said to myself that this could not be because my bank statements do not reflect that, only to discover that they sold some of the student loan to Sallie Mae Education, so now I have two monthly payments instead of one.
