I purchased a REO from Fannie Mae a few months ago and had a nasty surprise. The home has 2 HOAs that were not disclosed or included in my paperwork. Since I specifically & clearly stated I didn't want to buy a home with an HOA I'm furious. I was told I signed a waiver clearing them of all responsiblity yet I did no such thing and their actions break California Law. The lawyer told me I'd win but since its a government bank they'd clean me out first with their unlimited access to lawyers & financial resources. So... read full review »
