I have purchased the electrosmart device which supposedly saves electricity by switching the geyser on and off on preprogrammed times. When the electrician arrived to have the unit installed, I was told that the wiring in my house is not done correctly, and I would need to redo the wiring before the device can be installed. He then left the unit with me and said that we could contact him to install once we have sorted out the wiring problem I have meanwhile received a quotation for the rewiring to be done, which amounts to R8000.
