I purchased a car in December 09. We sent them a January check for payment, as well as a February payment. In the middle of march we started to receive telephone calls that we are "2 months past due" we went ahead and checked our bank account, and the checks DID clear our bank. We then called electro savings and attempted to provide proof that the checks were cashed by electro savings, however they told us they were not accepting anything, as proof.
