Me and my partner bought a Sumsung LCD 3 months ago. When we first brought it home and unpacked it the plastic around the tv was distorted and melted looking, we returned it and got another. On the 2nd Jan 2009 our Tv said check fan 2 on the screen and then over heats and turns itself off after 10 minutes. It is useless. We have a 5yr warranty and called samsung and they said it is such a common problem so they didnt need to come to our house because they knew what to do.
