I purchased a 2009 Silverado in Oct. 09 with 3000 kms on it the low oil light came on. I took it straight in and the service dept had the truck for 1 month, first a sensor then the oil pump finally a complete teardown to find the problem, a faulty cam bearing and cam, 3000kms you say they repaired the motor not a new one.
