When I purchased my timeshare through Shell Vacation they told me they could resell it to their other members at any time. They told me it would hold the value and it would be no problem to resell it if I needed or wanted to. They also told me they could rent it to other members later and again they would take care of that. I held it for about a year and wanted to sell it.
