I have been in refinance with Citi morgage for 4 months...today I received a call that we are being denied because THE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES for two cards they asked me to close (american express and chase), will not provide a letter stating the payoff amount and the per diem. We qualified just fine...have our current mortgage with them...have outstanding Fica scores over 700 both me and my husband, but are being denied because they credit companies won't give them the per diem.
