I went to Strauss on Rt 440 in Jersey City, New Jersey to get a basic battery replacement. I brought a battery from them less then a year ago and had a one year warranty on the battery. The general manager of the store refused to give me a new battery due to a problem with the alternator. They told me in order for me to get a new battery I would have to replace the alternator.
