I too got a call from Gulf Coast Thieves and was also promised a $500 gift card for Best Buy. I never have received any gift card. I called to confront them and tell them I would like to cancel my account and they told me it was a web site I had to go to to get my gift card. It doesn't exist. Now my account is in collections because they gave out my credit card information to other publishing companies. I had to cancel the card to avoid future withdraws. Now they say they have verified my employment and are going to take the money out of my check. I don't know if they can really do this.
