I purchase a house full of furniture from Ashley Furniture in Gastonia NC ...I am ok with most of it but my kitchen table has been losing the top layer of finish...I thought this table was solid wood with a natural grain in the finish but it is plywood with a paper thin vaneer on top which after only 2 years has been chipping away and of coarse the warantee is over.I always used either a table cloth or place mats when we used the table...I paid over $700.00 for this set and now it is garbage and they told me they can't do anything about it!
