I had made a reservation at Marriot Airport Hotel to arrive early and have a room. When I arrived the room was not ready. The clerk tried to insist on a smoking room; I refused and said I would wait. I waited over 2 hours. The room rate was misquoted to me - for a small room with no view I paid 210 USD but had been quoted about 98USD - was this because of incompetence or because of the Marriot Point System?
