PTC/MTC buses Route No.47-A & 47-G used to stop at Pondi Bazaar via. Burkit road from T-Nagar bus stand to Valluvarkottam. After the introduction of Usman Road Flyover, the bus route has been changed via Usman Road Flyover and does not stop at Pondi Bazaar. Chief Minister Cell already directed to restore the route via Burkit Road, Pondi Bazaar. Still the restoration does not take place.
