I had a very unpleasant experience at Petland about a year ago. I went in and saw a dog I wanted to buy. I was then told that the dog had been placed "on hold" by phone with a 24-hour waiting period. I was told there were two hours left, and if the phone holder didn't respond/pay for dog by then, I could buy the dog. I went home and received a call about two hours later saying the holder had not called back and I could come get the dog. I got the dog and waited in a private room to fill out credit information.
