I have been working with Chase on a short sale for 5 months now. I call each day for an update and am repeatedly assured that someone will get back to me in 48 hours, or 7-10 days, or 3-5 business days. I can call 4 times in one day and get 4 different answers. I have even been told the file was in a status that is not allowed for the type of loan that we are working with. Yesterday I called and was advised the file was ‘closed’.
