In October of 2006 we had a rented Goodman Furnace and Air conditioning unit installed in our home. In 2009 we bought out the furnace and air conditioner. This summer when we turned on the air conditioner for the first time the compressor was not working. The unit would surge for 1 second ever minute trying to start up. We contacted Reliance Home Comfort but we were told that we were not covered for any parts because the unit was not registered with Goodman.
