Having had several pleasant lunches at this Indian bistro, decided to go there for dinner recently. Only the appetizer and dal (bread) were acceptable. Each of the meat entrees were meagre at best and swimming in sauce. The lamb entree in particular was scant: 5 grisley bits full of fat and impossibly tough. When the manager inquired as to how we were enjoying the meal, we drew this failing to his attention. His response was: :I'll tell the owner". No apology, no offer of a substitute, no taking it off the bill despite our having left a substantial amount. Never going back. A word to the wise: Stay away from Cafe Spice. read full review »
