Webroot Spysweeper

Have you ever listened to a few bars from Monk's "Straight, No Chaser" played over and over and over and over and over and over (and over) 200 times? You will if you ever find yourself so accursed to need Webroot's alleged tech support. I did, because Spysweeper was rendering the application that I use to make a living -- Tradestation -- all but inoperable. Heel-tastic

What a sleazy, pushy, dishonest bunch of operators! It's too bad Telebrands has rigged Google search so that complaints about this company's shoddy methods don't come up until the third page. I have New Jersey's attorney general's office looking into their Heel-tastics promotion, and I have alerted BBB in NJ and California. In brief, once their automated ordering system takes your credit card information up-front over the phone, it won't let you hang up and keeps prompting you about other "specials."
