We took care of the vacation rental like our own. We are extremely clean and meticulous and left the place cleaner than we got it. The owner did not physically inspect the property on departure. We found out a day later that he was retaining our $375 deposit claiming we dirtied the hot tub. Firstly, we did not dirty the hot tub, we used it under normal circumstances and it may have had normal wear and tear. We were told there was feces left in the tub???
